Rev. Nikkeya Berryhill (She/her) Rev. Nikkeya joined Bethel-Bethany in May 2023 as our full time pastor. Before coming to Bethel-Bethany, Reverend Nikkeya served as an Associate Pastor and Mission Developer/Church Planter in North Carolina and a Church Planter in Chicago. Prior to attending seminary in Berkeley CA, Reverend Nikkeya worked at a number of non profits and churches in the Milwaukee area and Northern Illinois. Reverend Nikkeya served as Board Chair of Tricklebee Café-A Pay-What-You-Can Cafe in the Sherman Park neighborhood for 6 years and she is currently serving as vice-chair for Enfleshed-a creative liberation-centered Spiritual-resource organization. Reverend Nikkeya has been trained as a Life and End of Life coach with the ELCA. Reverend Nikkeya’s seminary work focused on Mission Development/Church Planting, Environmental and Racial Justice, and Womanist Theology. Reverend Nikkeya’s passions include helping people envision their dreams, putting together creative rituals, writing liturgy, talking about God in unexpected ways, and helping people realize how connected they are to the divine. Lisa Quinn (she/her) started as our office manager in early 2014. She served as the liaison for our ecumenical church partnerships for several years. Besides working at B-B, Lisa is also the Administrator at Living Hope Presbyterian Church (PC-USA) and at Advent Lutheran Church (ELCA). While not working at churches, Lisa designs and creates costumes for area high school and community theater productions, most recently for Sunset Playhouse, Homestead and DSHA high schools. Lisa works in the B-B office a few afternoons a week, and checks her emails daily. Contact Lisa
Finn Emmer (he/him) began as our building manager in 2021. He works a few hours a week to help keep our physical space clean and functioning to support our mission.
