Rev. Thad Winkle (he/him) has been the pastor of Bethel-Bethany since 2019. He graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with an M.Div., M.A., and a certificate in Black Church Studies. He grew up in West Michigan and spent formative years in Jackson, MS, before relocating to New Jersey for seminary. His professional experiences prior to coming to B-B include community development, teaching incarcerated students, being a chaplain in a state psychiatric hospital, and numerous church-related positions. Pastor Thad was drawn to B-B because of its members’ commitment to being a church for our neighborhood — regardless of whether neighbors worship with us on Sundays — and their desire to lean further into our multiracial context. His partner, Aida Haddad, is in a residency at a local Milwaukee Hospital. Contact Pastor Thad
